Country Road Trip Survival Guide

CIS_Landing_Page_BannerWEB With help from Country Inns & Suites, a themed road trip can really escalate into something fun - and definitely survivable. The chain of inns and suites has provided two, four, and seven-day road trip itineraries, in five different themes, featuring three two-day legs that can be taken separately or combined for a longer trip. The itineraries include a mix of locally and nationally known attractions, notable family-owned restaurants and other relatively undiscovered venues known to employees of Country Inns & Suites’ 480 local properties. The themed itineraries explore five regions of the United States:

The historical yet contemporary Founding Fathers Country itinerary treks through North Carolina, Virginia and Maryland. Baseball, chocolate, and IMAX weave their way into a journey through museums, monuments and local attractions.

The nature-full Binoculars Country itinerary ventures through upstate New York. Hiking, golf, science, glass-blowing, satellite-interaction and Niagara Falls will make you not want to miss a New York Minute.

The Streams & Shores Country itinerary winds through Wisconsin and Minnesota. The Mall of America will be shopped at, Minnehaha Falls gazed at, and Circus World Museum laughed at, along with tons of water-themed attractions.

The Peaks & Valleys Country itinerary journeys across Montana, Utah and Idaho. It's perfect for if the classic, old-fashioned bug bites, making you want to take part in farm chores, go to drive-ins, see an old jail, go white-water rafting, and see classic cars, steam locomotives, and Yellowstone.

The Ocean Drive Country itinerary, abound with wildlife and beaches, follows the coastline of Southern California, offering an extensive to-do list for vacationers.

Some of the attractions are denoted as "Mom’s Choice" attractions, based on fun for the whole family, Mom’s approval, and price. This is part of Country Inns & Suites' focus on women: with enhanced lighting, expanded fitness rooms, and free wi-fi, women are doused in everything they want from a good hotel.
