Show Your Car Love on Valentine's Day

Love Your Car Your car doesn’t need any flowers or chocolates this Valentine’s Day, all it wants is a little TLC with an oil change, tune-up and just some basic service. There’s no debating the value of preventative maintenance to keep you car running well – not to mention getting you safely to your hot date this V-Day – according to the Car Care Council. So treat your car to regular care and take the following preventative maintenance steps:

  • Change the oil and filter every 3,000 miles or three months, per owner’s manual.

  • Check tire pressures at least monthly. This affects ride, handling, mileage and safety.

  • Have the alignment checked at lease annually. Winter roads can take a toll on your cars suspension.

  • Inspect the windshield wipers and lights on the car. Lights and wipers play a major role in safe driving.
